Can i use ebay gift cards to pay for fees on an item that i am selling?

I was wondering if you could use the gift cards to pay for the listing fee of an item that i am selling? I would rather not use a checking account or credit card to pay for these fees because gift cards are just so much easier and i dont have to keep track on my spending.
