Check void after 90 days...?

I have a check that was issued to me from a dept store because I had $100 credit to my credit card account with that store. On the check it states "void after 90 days." Its been just a few days past the 90 day mark, am I still able to received that money/credit due me since I did not deposit it? Would it show on their records that I never deposited the check and put that credit back to my account?
